Chef started his culinary journey in the kitchen of his Romanian grandmother. There he learned that food was one thing that brought his family together. His grandmother taught him valuable lessons such as respecting even the most basic of ingredients and that a delicious dish can cool almost any temper.
That passion of bringing people together through his prefect plating and delicious dishes still burn bright and is present in every dish he plates. He has a love for food and it shows.
Doug & Claudia have been staples of the Atlanta food scene for close to 40 years. They teamed together to open Mckendrick's Steakhouse in 1995. Their leadership over the years has cemented the restaurant as a timeless, sophisticated establishment -- taking on a bit of the personality of it's owners.
Carol's career spans multiple jobs in the hospitality field including working with Buckhead Life Group. She joined the McKendricks team in 1997 and manages the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest quality service and giving guests memorable experiences. Her background as a sommelier shows in an impeccable wine selection.
